On the fence...

Crunchers, i'm considering getting the Seiko SRPK17. I'm on the fence because while I love the dial, the case and the bezel I'm not so sure I'm in love with the bracelet. I tried it on and the way the bracelet is it doesn't fit my wrist all that well. Maybe that is just the style of the bracelet. Anyone else have this with alternative watch straps?

Thoughts?

I think it would suit the shark mesh type bands on the steeldives. You could also look at black two piece leather or silicon. The watch would suit most bands even a nato strap. What are the selling for

A NATO single pass will look good on anything short of integrated. YMMV.

Also look at Forstner. With the shoruded lugs, a straight end bracelet will look like it is a part of the design.

I have this on a sporty black silicon strap with the Seiko clasp from the original bracelet. I love it and think it's the perfect combination. I liked the retro bracelet but, for me, I feel this raises it to a whole new level of comfort and appreciation.

Here's a pic of the watch on a blue version that I experimented with before putting it on a black one. (away from home at the moment so can't show you the black)

And another experiment.

I have three Seikos in a roll that I consider my go to for that brand, the 55 (Sporty), Mikan Orange GMT (Office), SARB017 Alpinist on bracelet (Dress).

I got one and I don’t regret it. 20m band so it’s versatile. They say it limited edition but at 15,555 I don’t know? And the bezel it bidirectional and moves easy so if you are timing something be careful or your eggs will be hard boiled or runny! lol! Enjoy if you get it? Ps I’ve seen them on sale for £250 so shop around.

Thank for the feedback. They are $415 retail but I've seen them as low as $300 on ebay.

Thanks for the input! Forstner looks great! I had never heard of them before so thank you for the suggestion!
