I inherited by grandfather's Gruen watch when I was in high school. I was instantly interested in learning more about mechanical wrists watches. Because of cost I started collecting quartz watches. It wasn't until last year that I refreshed my curiosity and started collecting mechanical watches.

Rolex Explorer 36 reference number 124270. Every watch i've purchased, similar to this style, shared similarities to the Rolex Explorer. So I've been interested in this watch for a long time.
