Damn
I bought it off of the Merkur website:
It's usually on sale for around $170-180 on there.
It's also on AliExpress but more expensive:
My experience has been pretty good, now that I've had it for a couple months, the pushers get a little stiff but if u fidget with them regularly like I do then they'll loosen up a bit and feel better to push.
There's one thing preventing me from fully enjoying the watch, and that's how incredibly stiff the crown is when winding. I have other hand wind watches and they're not nearly as hard to wind as this watch. I usually have to have really good grip and sometimes even use a shirt to get more grip, like opening a can of pickles.
Most of my watches get tight after 15-20 winds, while this watch gets tight after 5. At first I was scared I was gonna break the watch, but not the biggest deal considering it's been working great for 6 months.
So I guess just something to keep in mind. But other than that it's an amazing watch, it'll last around a day or two depending how much u wind it, which for me is usually around 15-20 winds. The watch keeps good time and the exhibition case showing off the movement is amazing. The leather band that comes with is pretty good but I eventually swapped for a blue strap to match the vibe(drilled lugs helped with that).
I would definitely recommend it for the price, especially because it comes at a good size of around 38mm diameter and around 47 lug to lug, and it fits my 6.5 inch wrist very well.
Hope that helps :)
I love it, cool exotic name, and great design. I would definitely be interested in buying it, but using an eta movement could make it cost prohibitive for a lot of people who like the design.
