Citizen Promaster Tough, any experiences?

Hey Guys,

spring is coming and I'm in love. 🥰

This beauty caught my eye and I can't stop thinking about it.

Who of you have or had one?

How are the look and feel in person?

Thanks in advance.

Wish you all a happy Friday. 👍

One watch cruncher had it and shared his ideas on YouTube - Degenerate Watch Addict.

Think that's what Ray Mears wears, so it's going to be pretty indestructible 💪🏻💪🏻

Also @degenerateWA is pretty active on here. I summon thee! 🪄✨✨

Don't have one, but I keep returning to this as a possibility for a gift, trouble is the recipient is of the itty bitty wrist committee and this would just look comical on their wrist. Not just the case of 42 but the lugs and way the bracelet sticks out even further makes me pause.

An excellent daily GADA.

3 subjective criticisms I had:

  1. It was more grey than I was expecting (the stock image had a more silver-tone look, but is more accurately represented on the image you shared)

  2. It's got a chonky side profile, almost "bulbousy" if that even means anything.

  3. The extremely comfortable lightness of titanium is too light. I can't stand watches that are so comfortably they feel almost cheap

Overall, functionally, you can't go wrong with a Citizen Tough/Promaster/Eco-Drive

I saw your review. Thanks a lot. 🤜🤛🤩

I never had one in my hand or on my wrist, so it's hard to say how it really feels.

Nevertheless I think it's a great looking watch, I really like the toolish style.

You are right, you can't go wrong with a promaster.

There is a 35mm version 7878-H16714 , and a about 39mm version 7828-h09971. They are like 20 years old tho. Keep them charged and they are good but replacing the capacitor kinda finicky since they are monocoque casees
