Teddy seems to be a nice guy, but make no mistake, his channel is nothing more than a platform to sell more watches. He's a salesman, pur and simple.

I stopped watching most "watch reviewers" some time ago. Fact is, I find that almost all of them have become compromised by their acceptance of free goods in exchange for a review. And others, like Federico, use their channel as nothing more than a marketing platform all while claiming to give an unbiased take on various aspects of the watch industry and collecting. Fact is, watch content on you tube has become big business and these guys are cashing in while they can. And we, the enthusiast, end up picking up the tab. I trust only a handful of watch content creators on you tube (like tgv, for example), and even then, I take everything they to say with a grain of salt.

I own a Ranger and I surf with it. Never an issue. Swim to your hearts content, the watch is going to be just fine!

No, I actually use my dive watches for what they are designed for: diving and surfing. A leather strap would never work for me.

The Breitling Superocean is a lovely watch. But if you are open to another idea, may I suggest a Formex Reef. Excellent finishing, great bracelet, and a chronometer grade Selitta SW300. All for a fraction of the price. The $3,000 dollars you will save will go a long way toward future servicing.
