Today I had the pleasure of attending my second RedBar Detroit event. While I won't disclose the meeting location or the names of attendees, I refrained from taking pictures of individuals despite everyone feeling at ease with a few of us taking images of everyone's collections.
Some of my initial observations; the atmosphere was warm, inviting and the feeling of a remarkable amount of trust. Members freely left their watches for others to explore, creating a unique and memorable experience.
The sheer number of watches and attendees (roughly 25-30) was overwhelming, which reminded me of the Windup Watch Fair but on a smaller scale. Attendees displayed a good awareness of others, ensuring everyone had an opportunity to appreciate the stunning watches on display.
The diversity in brands, ranging from high-end to affordable was a standout feature, very much like Watch Crunch's WRUW. There were so many watches and types that is was head-spinning. You definitely felt the passion in a variety of ways from each enthusiast. Learning what each individual liked and what brought them into the collecting world was a great learning experience.
While the lighting wasn't ideal, I apologize in advance for the subpar pictures. Depending on WC's capacity I may have to split this reel into multiple posts.
Enjoy...

It was good for the soul😉. Thanks Troy.
Certainly a lot to take in
Wow! We tend to bring one, maybe two. A few members will bring a watch box. Not watch suitcases 🤣

Exactly. A few of us only brought 2-3. When I arrived I was suprised by how many watches were in these very large cases.
