Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I have always loved watches and admired them, even as a young boy. Several years ago, I decided that it would be fun to start collecting them. I got a good start by being a member of a watch club subscription service, and my interest has grown from there.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
My first watch that I can remember really cherishing was a 1987 Swatch GB707 Navigator. I thought it was the coolest thing ever, and I still have it to this day.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Lately, I have been buying up classic Casio digital watches. These are the watches I thought were so cool when I was young, but couldn’t afford to get them. Now, it has been a joy to pick up these quality pieces for such a low price. They’re so much fun to wear! I’ve also always loved Citizen and Seiko watches.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Probably an Omega Speedmaster. I’ve been drawn to it for a long time.
