Q: How did you get into watch collecting?

I've always liked those cool 90s gshocks growing up then life happened and my priorities were shifted into not caring about fulfilling my taste at a lot of things. Then my income started to be more decent....I've always liked racing and cars and how engines work ive started to watch lot's of car videos...I even knew most car brands before I could spell the alphabet or go to school..Then I stumbled upon a Youtubers watch add...it was a skeleton watch that looked like a million bucks in my inexperienced eye I went...I'm curious why this guy making an add for a watch that's all gears no batteries and telling us to go check the site out like we can afford it...when I went to take a look and saw it was 100 bucks I immediately ordered....and the rest is history....I try to collect every type of automatic or mechanical chronos...divers etc...and the plural is cause I wanted a lot of different colors so...it's a fun but slow and expensive process but I love every second of it.

Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?

oh man....it was a surfer rectangular curved style digital watch that hugged the wrist like Oakley glasses....I remember that it had the coolest lights cause the dial was split to day dates and a seconds circle pie that had pieces that disappeared every second...and it was different colors when you've pressed the light button I was pressing the button a lot in my bed at night...that's all I can remember basically...

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?

not necessarily i dont know if that counts but.....I have a seiko sea urchin the Japanese ref.that's so attractive to me that I can't bring myself to take it off sometimes... with the result of it being on my wrist when the most important moments of my life over the past 4 years were unfolding weather stressed waiting being in a hurry looking at the time with it...or successful happy feel good fun situations it was there and I don't think I could ever bring myself to sell it ever...

Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?

I have a rule that I've followed and it seems that made me to not have regrets or buyer's remorse...like ever I never thought it would work but it applies to not just watches for me...here it is....when you like a watch learn everything about it watch videos and even try it on if you can especially if it's expensive and hits your budget hard....then try to let it slip out of your mind by looking at other things not just watches....if a few months go by and your desire is still in there especially if you saw it upclose...then you buy it...
