Hey there, I love photography and videography as much as I love watches. So one day I'll combine these two. I believe it will be very soon.
My current (main) collection is (ordered by order dates):
Citizen NJ0090-13P
Claude Bernard Slim Line 80102 37J AID
Longines Spirit 40mm (White Dial)
Longines Conquest Automatic 41mm Black Dial
G-Shock GMA-S2100-3AER
NOMOS Club Campus 38 Electric Green Ref.726
In addition to the above, I have some Skagen and a Fossil watches which I'm almost not wearing at all. And finally, a leftover from my beloved dad, 1982 Seiko 5 with day-date display.
When i was a kid, most interesting things were cars, watches and tech stuff for me. After 30+ years, it is still the same.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I cannot remember the model but it was a casio with 2 digital displays. Interesting one was a rounded rose color single row info display. And it was also a GMT.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Spirit. I was walking into the shop to buy a Nomos Clubsport 39, and left the shop with a Longines Spirit.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Be exact and super specific. We all know it will never be the last watch in the collection, but pick every piece like it will be. Pick it like it will be the one and only watch you'll use. And also try to avoid same color same shape watches. For example, a diver watch won't let you down in pacific ocean or in a kids pool. You don't need 2 blue diver watches at the same time in ur collection.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Aah, a lot. Hegid, Farer, Longines again and again, Nomos with new additions, Formex, Ball, CW, MeisterSinger. There are a lot.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Longines Spirit. Because for the price i've bought it, it is more than everything I can expect from a mechanical watch. But also the dial, color, case and overall design. That is the watch which can be the alternative of any other piece in my collection. It suits to everything.
