The very first watch I ever bought for myself. Fossil Grant Chronograph 44mm

Got this my first year of college. When I got it, it came with the wrong strap. I wanted the navy leather but it came with the brown leather. The sub min hand was misaligned also. I didn’t return it since I thought it brought character to the watch. 5 years later, I still think it has character. Put a nato on it a year in when the leather started falling apart.

I love the Daytona like looks. What model is it? I’ve never seen it before. And yeah the WR is dismal. I’d even worry when it was misting outside.

It is Fossil chronograph gold FB-01 FS5836 100m 42mm case and I especially like the extremely balanced design, plus the fine details in gold... The gold frame around the sub dials, are not even possible to see on the official photo... But it has only a mineral crystal and the links in the otherwise fine bracelet look solid, but are actually folded - which anyhow reduse the weight!

The first two photos are mine and the other is rare...
