Beat Error on NH35

I hope someone can give me an answer on this. I have made three movements unusable and need to know how to fix.

So I was adjusting BEAT ERROR. I think the cause of the problem is I went too far one way and something jumped out of position.

The result is the speed lever is really fast no matter which way you push the lever. Speed lever has no affect anymore.

Is there a way to fix this without taking movement apart? Is this something simple I can fix really easily by taking just a few things apart.

Like I said I have done this to three movements and ended up here. I have fixed the beat error on one. So my batting average is 3 to 1...not good.

Anything that would help would be greatly appreciated.

It's very hard to diagnose without pictures, as "something jumped out of position" is not particularly descriptive. Can you still adjust for beat error? If nothing happens when you adjust the regulator, it is somewhat likely that the spring has jumped the pins on the underside of the brass rivet on the regulator lever.

What is the current beat error?

There isn't anything that can jump out of place, u less maybe you've damaged the balance spring.

I've had occasion where trying to correct the beat hour has changed the +/- noticeably, then had to go back to the beat error adjustment.

But, I' ve never had to adjust the beat rate on a new watch, only vintage ones.

I really can't explain it any better. All I can tell you is at some point the speed regulator seems to be usless. Usually is is after I went to a point in one direction where TG 0.5.0 can't detect a beat. Then I go back the other way and it might start working again or it does what I have described.
