Do you know the brand Merkurwatch ?
Do you know the brand www.merkurwatch.com?
It seems to be a Chinese brand or similar, like watches found on AliExpress! Am I wrong, perhaps?
In any case, I like some of the designs... Are they perhaps copies of designs of famous brands, but which I don't know?

The Youtuber Just The Watch has made a handful of videos about them, I would look it up. Probably Jody at Just One More Watch has as well.
From what I’ve been able to gather, it’s a sort-of-micro brand. They have one owner who is also the designer and does most of the customer communication. What is unclear is whether he outsourced or owns the factory producing them.
Fine watches by all accounts and good deals for the money.

I think those are both WW2 style. The second one is based on a Hanhart chronograph, the first one I'm not sure. You can still get similar watches from the original brands, for example https://www.hanhart.com/kollektion/pioneer/417-es-4/

Customer service was terrible when they sent me a watch different from the one I ordered. See my other posts re Merkur. Eventually got a refund from PayPal. Thank goodness I paid using them.

Agree with you there, though it's not all rainbows and sunshine on PayPal's end. They're not the friendliest bunch, but what matters is that I got my money back.
