Watch Olympics - Team Germany

Which three watch brands best represent Germany in ALL areas of watchmaking?

Let's say that all the watchmaking countries come together to participate in the Watchlympics. Three companies are chosen for each country and compete against one another, judged on three general areas:

Heritage & History: The stories behind the brand, the watches, or the people that wore them and when

Design & Craftsmanship: The beauty of the brand's design philosophies, or their commitment to creating the best movements imaginable

Versatility & Affordability: The 'value for money', adaptability; The watch/brand that can do it all - At least, as much as possible from the price point

Which three (3) German brands would you nominate to compete? Comment below.

If it were me:

Glashutte Original - Interchangeable with Lange, but both companies have such compelling history that is bound to intersect considering their regions of origin

A. Lange & Sohne - Home to some of the most amazing designs and well-finished movements that I’ve ever seen, this is one of the few companies that could give Patek Philippe a run for their money

Sinn - No nonsense, ruthlessly efficient and reasonably priced, Sinn is positioned very well to be a competitor in the affordability and versatility categories

No disrespect to GO (which I adore), but you're doubling up with Glasshute high design & craftsmanship brands there. Replace them with Junghans who give you as much - if not more - heritage & history (Junghans had the largest clock and watch factory in the world at one point in the early 20th century and represent the Black Forest center of watchmaking) as well as affordability & versatility that ALS, GO and - these days - Sinn don't have (many watches under $1k and quartz/solar options).

I was going to put in Nomos, but yeah. Double Glashütte is quite enough.

Maybe Lang and Heyne to replace GO?
