I initially wanted the big moon in white. But then, I was thinking if the movement broke, I definitely want something that I can easily repair it myself. That's why I go with the Averau. If anything happen, I believe I can swap the movement myself :D
Thanks guys for the response. I appreciate it. I talked to an Omega Certified repair centre based in Newcastle that can handle the servicing. It will take about 12 weeks (3 months) or so. That's not bad at all. Once I got a confirmation on whether I'll be staying in Edinburgh beyond June 2023, then I'll definitely send it for servicing. Also, when I talked to the guy, he said it's normal for the watch to go beyond COSC specification timing. Even after servicing, he said I will get a few seconds back, but it'll never be like COSC specification. I think that makes sense since this watch is beyond 15 years old. And I don't mind adjusting the time on the watch to match accurate time every day or so. Anyhow, thanks again for the responses! (P.S. I'll not send this watch to Timpson 😄 )
