I am a newly minted horological nerd who was inspired by Marshall on https://www.youtube.com/@WristwatchRevival. The way mechanical watches work really intrigues me and I have started purchasing the tools to service watches on my own. Favorite complication is GMT, both for it's usefulness as I work with many colleagues who are overseas and how it is aspirational as I love to travel/explore!

Got the watch. Other markings now that I have it are that it says “W.M.R. Watch Case Corp. Case made in Hong Kong” on the inside of the case back and “Hong Kong” on the outside of the case. The movement does seem to be a Forster-194. Not sure if that helps?
I am in the infancy of my watch enthusiasm (I have a Traska Venturer GMT on order and just ordered my first vintage watch off eBay today), but what got me going was falling into a YouTube rabbit hole watching Marshall: https://www.youtube.com/@WristwatchRevival. His passion for watches and explanation of how they work just really hooked me in. So interesting to see how a mechanical watch works and have been using the same principle for over 100 years.
