Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
From a very young age, I always collected things like fountain pens, rulers you name it, then my parents got me a swatch for Christmas and the game was on!
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A swatch, green, bless the early nineties!
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Too many so let us not open the can of worms.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take your time to curb the enthusiasm or you might regret it. You need to know your taste, then buy and enjoy what you like, don't believe the hype.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
GS, JLC, seiko, breguet and Trilobe
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Wouldn't mind a Kodo, or an elegant FPJ. The latter is a more attainable dream, but if I get my hands on the former, well, I would have probably resorted to some kind of criminal enterprise so there's a low likelihood not for moral reasons but just because I wouldn't last long in jail, me a staunch realist!
