Not really. I’ve only been complimented on my watch 3 times. Once about a Casio Edifice (300 USD), and twice about a Seiko Samurai (500 USD). Never a single comment about my luxury watches, Omega, Tudor etc.

I’d also consider the 2255.80 Seamaster. Its electric blue dial is beautiful, the steel bezel shines like a mirror and it has stick markers with insane amounts of lume! Although I have mine on the Omega steel Milanese (very expensive but lovely) the bracelet it comes on is a speedmaster bullet one and tapers.

I only have 6 Seikos but they’re pretty divers(e) hahah. Field, Alpinist, and three divers. But I think I bought wisely and it seems most of these have either held their value or gone up (lookin at you Ginza Alpinist$. anyway, what do you think?
