I finally got to clean the grey Nato strap. Here are some pics. I am not sure if it is too casual and/or the strap is too wide in relation to the case diameter.
True! I just put mine on a black leather strap yesterday. Going to try the very casual grey Nato strap I have lying around and see if that works.
As a happy new owner of the Lorier Astra I am a little biased... I really love it and think it is a great everyday watch. Movement also works fantastic for me, so far around +1 sec. per day. Maybe it just does not fit the "sport" category as well as some of the other watches?
That was my impression from the articles and videos too. But good to hear some first hand impression from deeper down the rabbit hole. :) The Falcon is also very tempting.
100 Euros on top for shipping and taxes on top are a bummer, but I preordered the Astra anyway. I think the overall package is still good for the money and it was exactly the kind of watch I wanted. So, YOLO I guess. :D
Very fine watch. I just pulled the trigger and preordered one. Was looking for a vintage inspired, dressy/everyday watch. The other contender was the Baltic HMS 003 silver blue, but I just liked the Astra a bit more.
