My Tragedy

This is my granddad's 1960s Seiko, I've had this since I was about 8, and I love it to pieces, but when I was wearing it, unbeknownst to me, the crystal came off and my sleeve bent the hands, it still runs fine, but this is the watch that got me into collecting, and I love it to bits

I’m sure a local watchmaker would give it a go, if you live anywhere near southeast PA, I would be honored to repair it for you

I really appreciate the offer, however I sadly live in the north east, I will, however, get the spare parts and take it to a jewellers, with my grandad probably entering the final months of his existence, I really want this to be with me

I absolutely will, I want it done for summer again, it's been about a year since the accident, and it's been through a lot with me, I would kill for it to be back on my wrist

I am sure you will get it back to the way you want it. I love watches with a story.

Definitely, it's not an "if", it's a "when"
