Which watches have on the fly microadjust and hardened coating?

Just wondering if there’s any watch brands out there besides Zelos that are doing hardening treatments on their watches as well as have an on the fly micro adjust bracelet? Seems like these are 2 very useful features for every day wear that hopefully more watch companies start including.

I personally have gotten more in to bracelets lately and my wrist tends to swell and shrink throughout the day making my watch either too loose or too tight.

For the price, it’s hard to see anything beat Zelos’ features and specs granted their look appeals to you.

Monta and formex have on the fly micro adjust bracelets and Traska has hardening treatment on their steel but I haven’t found any (besides Zelos) that have both. Any companies/watches that am I missing?

Arken Instrumentum, now sold out, but had both. Picked up a used copy and it's 👌🏻.

Elliot Brown Holton Pro with additional metal bracelet is another that comes to mind. Not for sure how coated the whole kit would be, but know there is something there.

New RZE too, forgot about that one.

Pretty sure RZE is using Nodus' NodeX, I think. 🤔

Edit: Not a coating per se, but the Grade 5 titanium San Martin Diver should be mostly scratch proof.

And if you wanna spend the big bux, Sēl Instruments Omnidiver or FTX with wavelock bracelet, 100% every part and screw Grade 5 titanium.

The RZE Endeavour looks sweet, too bad it’s 40.5mm case size. I generally can’t pull off anything over 39mm. Glad to see they are doing it tho. Maybe they’ll have a 38-39 in the future

Traska does have a five micro adjustment on the bracelet (info from the website, never had one in hands)

My Citizen has a duratect treatment on the titanium grade 5 and a 3 positions clasp. I'm like you and my wrist tend to slim during the day and it's ok thanks to this

Forgot about the Citizen Promaster Tough's, have only worn the Ray Mears on a strap since day one 😂.

On that one prolly not, the owner was talking about how he specifically wanted a larger watch for those that want one.

Doesnt mean they won't do a smaller diameter, but it'll look different.

And real world difference between 39 and 40.5 is neglible. Case height would be the main thing. With lug sweep etc looks like it wears similar to the baby MM200's and smaller than the much larger Zelos Hammerhead.

Basically it's a smaller MM300/Zelos Hammerhead.

I have a Traska and it’s not on the fly adjustment. Meaning tool-less adjustment. Unless they changed it recently but I don’t think so.

The Zelos I have my eye on is the Aurora 38mm. I wish it was a little thinner that 12mm but it’s acceptable. Everything else is on point. But thanks for the info on what else is out there. Definitely good to see the other options. I’m not in a rush to pull the trigger.

I couldn't wait for every brand to step up and add a better clasp to their bracelets so I took matter into my own hands and modded every bracelet I own with a $20 on-the-fly adjustable clasp. 👍

That’s a solid solution. Any links to or brands you’d recommend?

It’s a little crazy that of all the watch companies there are in this world that only a handful mentioned above are doing this. Imagine only 3 car companies including a radio or air conditioning……

Thanks for sharing that. Unfortunately the bracelet on my Traska tapers down to 16mm. Let me search around and see if they have a 16mm one.

All of my Christopher Ward watches have on the fly micro-adjustment. Love it! Difficult to buy something without it. I'm in and out of air conditioning all day. I also have a Foliot with a great tapered bracelet and micro adust.
