Omega speedmaster racing
I usually just post on wruw but this morning I thought you might like to see this piece here. It’s a 40mm version of the racing speedy. It has the opaline silver dial with clos de Paris in the counter dials. 3330 caliber movement based on the 7750. If Omega was interested in my opinion which it’s not I would say build us something like this and we would be all over it. What do you think ?

Totally recommend this piece. I’ve only worn it on the rubber strap with deployant so I’m not sure about the bracelet. Everything about this one says yes. Go for it.
I love mine. I got it on Chrono 24 without papers for about $2,700.
I had my jeweler check it out during Chrono 24 review period. I don’t like the Omega deployment strap. It’s hard to get a good fit. I want to change it as soon as I can find a good 19mm replacement.
The Omega SMR is a solid piece of equipment and it keeps excellent time. However if I had to do the purchase over I would buy it on the bracelet with papers.
