Lost and Found
So in early 2022 my girlfriend wanted to try one of my watches, and ended up losing it after she wore it to go see her mom overnight in another city.
She swore up and down that her brother's kids must have taken it, because she couldn't find it anywhere. It's been about a year since then, and she was cleaning out her car when she found a bag hiding under some other things in the back seat.
The watch was laying right at the top of the bag! She brought it inside and was just like 😐 holding up the watch. 😂
I put a NATO strap on it and thought I'd wear it for a few days since it's been lost for the past year.
(They / them) I live in Texas and I go cycling whenever I have the chance. I also read a LOT, both physical books and fanfiction on AO3 and Wattpad.
THAT is why wifey didn t get her bones anywhere near my collection. She can have my books, my car, my credit card (erm...) but N E V E R ever my watches. She s very specialized in cleaning the house up and in the process things dissapear in a different time and space🤣

Glad your runaway watch has come home! I know your girlfriend is eating a tiny bit of crow. Go out and buy her a new watch. You know the next watch she gives you will be awesome AND she won't keep borrowing/losing yours LOL!
