A great replacement!
After my tissot seastar 1000 conked, was looking for a good diver on a budget.
Was on the fence about the Orient Kamasu, but with such good reviews, I pulled the trigger on it.
Very satisfied with this! To my rudimentary eyes, no defects. The dial is gorgeous! The bezel is great: satisfying action and easy to rotate.
Everyone said the bracelet sucks. Honestly, I think its pretty decent! Will probably replace it with a rubber strap or a mesh bracelet, just for taste reasons.
But overall, man this is execellent! I love Seiko, but a sapphire crystal, 200 meters WR, mechanical movement and a screw down crown at 230 bucks is something I cannot find in the Seiko cataloague at this price. My search started with looking for Seikos but this clearly won!

Ps: I know the Kamasu doesnt need my endorsement, its an enthusiast favorite already. For anyone considering this, just get it! And, sorry about the crap pictures.
