First Impressions of the Frederique Constant Manufacture Flyback Chronograph (FC-760NS4HC)

I didn't expect to buy a watch today, but this was 75% off (likely a display model) and I fell in love with it immediately. I also didn't expect to ev...

Becoming a Seiko fan in 2023

When I started collecting watches less than a year ago, I immediately felt a connection to Seiko as a brand. As a noob with a limited budget, I fell i...

Visually speaking, what is your favourite bezel material?

I couldn't find another poll that was done on this topic. Given the current demand for ceramic, this might end up being a landslide. I know ceramic is more durable, as are the recent spate of sapphire...

I love my cream/champagne version. I think I would have gone for the the blue if it was avaialble.

I just discovered this review after considering writing my own. I agree with your points, although I don't mind the date wheel and I was lucky enough to find a good fit despite only having two pointa of micro-adjustment. My biggest complaint is the weight. It's my heaviest watch, even more than my Willard. It does bother me at times, but not enough to stop wearing it.

Love the Halios (on a list for that one). Maybe fill that spot with an affrodable chrono, perhaps a Seagull.

I'm having the exact same internal debate between the champagne versions of the Seiko and the 37mm Longines. I've already tried them both, and I agree with most people that the Longines is nicer overall, but not sure if its 2.5 times nicer, as the prices would suggest.

It wasn't on purpose, but all of my divers are ISO certified: Certina DS Action Diver (38mm), Willard, and a Citizen Orca.

Seconded

I got mine last weekend. It's definitely lived up to my expectations. The included straps are fine, but I will be buying a 2-piece leather strap for it. What do you think about the AR treatment? Usually, I don't mind blue AR, but it's so strong on this one. From any angle other than straight on, it gives the dial a purplish hue.
