Ok it's scary what Chinese vendors can do now. Obviously, this copies the Seiko 6109 -8110 "Captain Willard". But it's better.
No, I mean it. The bezel alignment is great! You can feel the hefty quality in the weight of the steel. And it's got a better movement in the PT5000. Which we know is a clone of the ETA 2824-2. It feels totally natural on my wrist; I feel the weight but it's like it belongs there.
Yes, I could have gotten the reissue. Though clearly overpriced, it would be the genuine Seiko. But I couldn't pull the trigger. Because the steel dive was clearly a better quality watch. Even without considering price. Which came to $150, including shipping!

No, as I noted in the post. It's a PT5000. Their regular offer has the Seiko NH35, so you have to dig a bit on the website to see the other option. People who has tested the PT5000 usually see +2/-2, pretty much within COSC standards.

About six months back. Poor lume, made movement, crooked markers, horrible bracelet, bad screw down crown and much more haha. It was baddddd 😂

Yeah that sounds bad. Maybe you got a bad copy? The lume on mine is amazing. With only walking around the room, I take it into my kitchen and it starts to glow. And that's with lights on. And the movement has been rock solid. What you would expect from an ETA clone 2824. Maybe you got the nh35 version?
It was the pt5000 which made me surprised with the poor time. I even demagnetized it upon getting it. My friend had the same QC issues with his NH35 version. I want to chalk it up to the bad ones of the bunch haha
I have one myself. One of the better “affordable” watches I have purchased. Came with the sizing tool as well. And the lume, it’s amazing. Don’t regret it at all.
