Strap VS Bracelet. I am not alone, I’m sure.

I’m telling you, I really don’t get what’s going on in my head. I realized that for as much I WANT my collection to be predominantly on leather or other fabric straps, cause, in my mind, that gives me more options to switch/change colors and styles, what I DO is always opt for metal bracelets. May be for the quicker wearing, or they seem to better fit my wrist shape, or that even the cheapest kinds have that slight adjustment that makes it comfortable. Fact is, somethimes my box looks like that.

I am somehow indifferent on this topic as well.

While I think that it makes sense to buy a watch on a bracelet rather than anything else because there are lots of aftermarket options for leather, nylon etc., for me it is often that I am then too lazy to change and leave it on the bracelet… OTOH, there are so many „better“ ways to wear than a bracelet…

For me generally I wear fabric in winter and bracelets in summer. Not a hard rule as I've some that live on a bracelet or Sailcloth.

Don’t fight it, lean into it! Bracelets are the best, the rest are for when you’re bored.

In the beginning I was strap/nato heavy but when I bought my Islander which came in a bracelet I like bracelets more and I usually dont take the bracelet off. Safe to say a lot my straps and natos don’t get to much wear 😂.

Smokers: "I can quit any time."

Bracelet freaks: "It's easier to buy a stock bracelet and then find a fitting strap, than the other way round."

But there are so many kinds! Big links, small links, fine mesh, coarse mesh, beads of rice, those Philippine shackles or wossname, with single deployant clasps, butterfly clasps, stainless steel, titanium, gold, gilded, PVD, DLC, hardened and so on...

For me bracelets for ever

I prefer a bracelet, but I also want some variety in there. And right now I’ve been liking rubber for my casual wear at home

True, but I often find myself going for the metal when choosing from the limited options available on the go!…

Exactly what I’m going for at the moment… analizing those kinds. And I mean basically buying one of each.

I'm more of a bracelet guy as well. Buying a watch on the original bracelet is probably preferred, because you can't get a perfectly fitting aftermarket bracelet while getting a NATO strap or something like this is much easier.
