Longines Heritage Diver No Date

I came across this one a few months ago in a shop here in chengdu. It was in beautiful condition and I like to wear it once in a while to get my BB 58...

Tudor BB GMT all the way.  It’s not too big , it’s just Manly!  Seriously, I get so many compliments on this watch both from watch people and nonwatch people, male and female. It’s just a good looking watch. Most of these people don’t know the Rolex/Tudor background nor do they know the history of Pepsi bezel. It’s not just a travel watch, it’s a weekend watch.

Yes I also wear a Fitbit on my left hand with my BB 58 usually on my right hand, because I’m a leftie. I suspect this is a short term thing as I would expect at some point in the near future you will be able to get a sensor to put underneath your mechanical watch between the case back and your skin that will collect all the same data that your smart device now collects and transfer it directly to an app on your phone. I’m sure the only reason this hasn’t happened already is because Apple won’t let it happen yet. In short, enjoy the double resting for now but don’t expect it to last forever.

Yeah I just ran across it one day.  It’s my only Longines because I prefer Tudor but this watch is definitely special.  I want to get the mesh bracelet for it that you have but Longines here in Chiba tell me it will take 3 months to get it and so I will think it over.

Agree with all of the above except when I watch the Mad Watch Collector the editing makes my brain hurt.  It was cool the first time but after that I got tired.

FROM Saskatchewan but living in China for 21 years.  Just happy to be healthy and happy, and loving the watch hobby as a fill in for traveling these past 3 years.

That’s exactly what I’ve done.  I also would love to own a 124060 but will never pay more than retail for a watch that in theory Rolex could manufacture enough of to satisfy demand, but choose not to.  So, I bought a “birth year” Rolex Oyster Perpetual date (1965) to scratch my Rolex itch and a Black Bay 58 AND a Black Bay GMT for my daily wear watches. I’ve also bought a Tudor Prince Date Chrono Tiger and a Longine Heritage Diver no date.  I’ve got some other watches too but my point is I am also not playing that game with the Rolex Subs and instead am enjoying several cool watches the by the way seem to be holding or even gaining a bit of value month by month.

I live in China and have been being Tudors for two years.  My BB58 is my daily watch and I just bought a pre-owned BB GMT today because I miss the one I bought and sold last year. (😂)  Crazy I know.  I don't know if anyone sells SINN watches in China so I am no judge, but the Tudor Black Bay 58 is the best watch I've ever seen formal human being like myself - but its the original black dial version.  Love it.  Probably will be wearing it most days for the rest of my life.  I sometimes think I need a SUB 124060 but I would NEVER pay more than retail and therefore I appreciate my BB58 every time I see a 124060.  All that being said, I am a desk diver.
