$30 in 1927 is $500ish in 2022. Decent prices, especially for the solid gold pieces. :)

Wearing a Pagani or wwrhfru or $15 casio when you can actually afford to wear Rolex, etc. I made up the second name, but you get the idea. That or no watch at all. 

Also, the fake strap felt a bit nicer than the real one. No joke.

The real one feels and looks the same. This is the one case where I have owned both and only kept the fake. It will sit in my watch box just like the real one would have.

The watch market value correction will erase more value from the watch than your  scratches will. ;)

Those dimensions will not fit in my front door.
