Experiments in lume
It's my first day with lume pigment and I've already destroyed my 200h, (though the full face lume looked lovely) and failed to make a royale and an ae1300 easier to see in the dark. The 200 was the victim of deviation from my original plan and a complete lack of understanding of the importance of removing hands.
From my point of view, the only watch to come out even slightly ahead today is the AE1300, with text erasure using goo gone and q tips, as well as some lume/glue/scratching and shading now adding some further separation for the 3 major areas of the display.
The royale didnt fair as well, since the hoped for mirror illumination was unsuccessful, though it has a sort of Halloween feel now, which is good enough for the season. I also have a follow up planned on the hypothesized mirror effect, so all is not lost on that front.
