I recently saw the “12” from Christopher Ward in 36mm.

Several dial colours in both steel and titanium.

First is whether I actually like how the watch looks. Second is history, ie Hamilton field watch. Third, can I actually afford it.

For me it is generally the size of the watch. There are so many beautiful pieces out there but as soon as it is below 42mm it’s out for me.
