more explorer (exploring different textures and backgrounds)

After gawking at the 124270 for so long, it’s strange to see how different and more “spread out” the markers on the older modern dials look

I dig your photography on here

late reply, thanks! i chose my 14270 after trying on a last gen 40(?)mm from a friend and didn't like it (plus the whole rolex ad wait game). this older gen also takes straps well. i just got my bergeon tool so i cant wait

Fair enough. . If i ever somehow am able to afford a 124270, i think it’s a watch I’d keep on the bracelet. I already have a few watches like that, so it wouldn’t bother me too much 🙂. I love experimenting with straps tho. I found the first really expensive one i want but I’m not sure which watch i want to get it for 🤔

i feel like trying on an older explorer from the mid late 90s like mine (birth year/range pick up) would

be a good alternative
