#NWA - Timex M79 Automatic - Batman
New Watch Alert! Patience is a virtue and I have been a virtuous man. I had waited long enough that my budget and the market price have finally met at an acceptable intersection that I can buy this watch.
This will be my first Timex Automatic. Hopefully it won't be the last.

These bracelets work great on my hairy arms was always surprised as how little hair they pulled to be honest
Funny. The exact same watch is on the way to me as well. I found the price reasonable enough to give it a try. I'm sure it won't be your last Timex Automatic. They can be addictive! I regularly come back to buy their vintage inspired Q releases as they are relatively affordable and yet look gorgeous.

I have the Q root beer 🍻 quartz retro release and this thing has pulled out so many hairs I stopped wearing it. Because each workday I have to prepare myself for that 1-3 time a day occurrence. It's like pulling a nose hair with a tweezers but that you can't see coming. So just prepare yourself for that daily burden. 😂😂😂 Other than that it's a wonderful watch I get lots of compliments from the other men at my job. The women in the office say it's too small for my wrist and curl their nose a bit at it 🤣🤣🤣
I do wish I had gotten an automatic tho but not sure if they make a root beer automatic. But it's definitely unique and a keeper. It's very retro

One of the reasons that I wanted to get the M79 Automatic was because it was 40mm vs the 38mm case size of the Timex Q quartz releases.
I own a Timex Q quartz model and it does seem smaller on the wrist. I fixed that by replacing the bracelet with a strap that doesn't taper down.
The M79 Automatic presents itself quite well on the wrist. It doesn't look small like retro quartz ones.
So far, The stock bracelet hasn't pulled any of my wrist hairs. I'll keep wearing it for a bit to see if this changes as it gets worn and broken in.
