Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
When I was a baby my dad told me I was always trying to take off his watches. I knew around my 13th birthday that the obsession was starting. I got my first Seiko when I was 18 and there was no looking back from there.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Mickey Mouse watch in my teens. I don’t remember the brand.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I bough my omega seasmaster 300 the month my son was born to celebrate. Not interesting, but very sentimental to me.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take it slow. Think about every purchase, and make sure to do your research.

Q: What is your grail watch and why?
My grail watch is a Rolex explorer. Love the size, simplicity, and readability. It’s just a perfect everyday, every occasion watch.
