Yeah made the same experience. Went to a rolex/tudor shop in Manila and they were very friendly. And i was only wearing a tudor ranger. Then went opposite to an omega shop and they were less friendly compared to the vien a shop. Maybe depends on the people working there.

Ok for everyone interested, i made the mistake and waited several months. I had the intention on going omega next… but as we all do with our intentions they sometimes change. I went to a local dealer to get a new strap for my tudor ranger. And there i have met my new love. A quartier santos dumont.

It became the dumont on following reasons:

• I need something dressy

• Its super thin and comfortable, dissapears when wearing a shirt

• The price is more justifiable to the Mrs.

• I need a quartz for my watch box to see what time it is for my other watches 😂

Hey man i just stumbled over this post. What strap did you get. The vanguard looks nice. Im thinking about buying it in grey for my ranger.

What tools are you using for switching?

Ok everyone. After a week of precise thinking and going through all of your comments (which were extremely helpful!) i have made my decision.

I will save my money up and my next purchase will be the Omega … AT 150m blue with the rubber strap! I made my decision on following points:

• Railmaster in black is to close on the looks to my Tudor Ranger which is my GADA.

• I then had in my head to get the Silver railmaster, which is something new to my set,but somehow did „feel“ right.

• Even though the Railmaster suits my job, lets be honest, I sit in the office all day and i am not outside in the field or workshop.

• AT has the perfect proportions with 38mm.

• Color is still epic in blue.

• Gotta respect the vote, as it was very clear on that end. The comments where more mixed.

I just hope the prices will go down a little by next year when I can do some purchases again (my conscious wont allow it as I have bought the BB58 and ranger just this summer and i dont want to give them up).

Yeah same plan here. If i go for the AT it would be in blue. Just looks so good. I got too many black dials already.
