Bezel Question

So I recently moved to the beach…since moving I have noticed that on most of my watches, the bezels are super tough to turn. Even the ones I don’t wear in the ocean. Once I turn the bezel a few times it loosens up and feels normal. Anyone experience this? I’m not sure if it’s higher humidity or just salt and debris from swimming. But like I said it is on most of my divers even if I don’t take them in water…thanks in advance!

Hey Brian! Very common thing. If you take your watch to the beach, you want to run it under warm fresh water at the earliest convenience. The salt from the water and air, as well sand, will get trapped. I usually give mine a rinse as soon as I get home or if I go to a restaurant along the way.

Rinse the watch in a bowl of warmish soapy water and exercise the bezel, repeat to rinse the soap off. You should see an immediate difference.

That is just living by the beach. It affects everything. 😀

All good advice above.

A man who uses his watches for their intended purpose. Hat's off to you sir!

As mentioned above this is 100% normal, so just give it a wash and it will be good as gold.
