Heuer Monaco illustration
Normally I prefer a blue sunburst dial, but here I would take the flat blue. It is quite a hefty piece, but with character.

I think the original Calibre 11 was also modular as well, though I could be wrong about that.
An affordable way to get a Calibre 11 is to buy a (vintage) Silverstone.
