Paul pagani Newman

£48, free delivery in 5 days from China, I'm blown away, I've been lucky on the qc front so far with my pagani watches, and any shortcomings are totally outweighed by the great specs and bargain prices. I know some enthusiasts dislike homage watches, for me it's a none issue, I've always loved the watch that is being homaged here, but will never own, but this pagani gives me the vibe 👌 raindrops keep falling on my head!

I agree totally about homage, no issues here. Very nice Pagani, the chapter ring somehow works well with that one.

Homage watches (for me) are watches that are inspired by watches that are discontinued or unobtainable. This is a real homage by definition, congrats! Enjoy it!

I think the watch industry getting its panties in a knot over "homages" is evidence that the big brands are lacking in innovation and have been riding the gavy train of past successes for too long.

You can patent a technical element and you can trademark a logo but you can't "own" the entire visual design of an object.

It's like when a musician tries to sue someone for making a song with a similar melody or structure. Oh, I'm sorry, does the scale of E minor belong to you? There are only 12 tones in a scale and 8 in a key - the fun is in the endless variations.

Similarly you've got watch brands feeling like they can lay claim to a shape or a color combination and they've managed to convince some of their customers of the same thing. Pure silliness.

I am lucky when I sing people tell me I am tone deaf. Excellent summary btw.

For me, who have always loved the vintage Paul Newman it would be difficult to obtain one especially at the price they are asking so I love the fact of this homage is able to give me at taste of history. I also love the Rolex Explorer 1655 can we get that now .. no but, I get something close that satisfied my desire. Enjoy!
