Milwaukee, WI Meet Up

I'm just curious if anyone one on Watch Crunch is in the area. I mean Wisconsin is super cool, but we only have 5.5 million citizens. Are you 1 of the 5.5? Would you be willing to come to a meet up?

Given I'm in the Midwest, I know there are less people. So I'm curious how many people would even be interested. I do belong to RedBar MKE, and I'm rather new to the group. But everyone is rather amazing, just a great group. Though most of them have Rolexes, they all take to other's watches very well and there's certainly no snobbery in this group.

So given I'm afraid of a low turn out, for a Milwaukee meet up. I was considering the idea of combining a Watch Crunch meet up and a RedBar MKE meet up. So the Watch Cruncher meeting up can join RedBar MKE if they'd like, and the RedBar gang can learn and hear about Watch Crunch! I think it would be a wonderful match up. But I'm not sure how to attract individuals towards a Midwest Watch Crunch meet up.

I think this could be huge and I think it could make some strides in Midwest watch game. Maybe Shinola, Lum-Tec, Niall, Detroit Watch Co., Pelton, & Farr+Swit would make an appearance?? One can only hope!

Please comment and follow for more, and please let me know your thoughts!!

Dude - I feel your pain!

I think it’s only me ‘n‘Yarko at my YVR meet up 😂

Sounds like you’ve got a good group already - I’m guessing REDbar is bar for watch collectors?  🤘

Give it at least a week for people to see, don't lose heart. I'm rooting for ya.

Well thank you Sir! Yeah the population in the States is nuts. Wisconsin is the 18th most populated state and the US is the 3rd largest population on the planet. And in about a month and a half during deer hunting season, Wisconsin will have the World's Largest Standing Military for that week of hunting. It's wild.

I’m in northern Illinois and would consider making the drive to Milwaukee (if scheduling allows)! 😁 Madison would also be a good area to meet!

It's open to suggestions, nothing set in stone!

I am in MKE, Third Ward area.

Let me know more about potential meetup, I am not familiar with RedBar (if that is correct). I lived in Chicago last 21 years, just moved back to MKE.

I'm right next to you! I think we should definitely talk, and have you out to a RedBar MKE event! Message me when you have a chance!!

Unfortunately I didn't stumble upon this post until now but I'm in the Milwaukee area. I don't own anything luxury or even mid tier, so I'm not sure how many looks I would get showing up wearing a Casio or cheap auto but I'm definitely getting obsessed with watches ha

Oh no worries at all, all watches are welcome. If you're close to the Milwaukee area, maybe check out the RedBar Milwaukee Chapter. Its a great group of people that's for sure. I haven't had enough Midwestern WC people to demand a meet up, they seem to be far and few between.
