Thatโ€™s a beautiful dog (and watch). What kind of Lab is she? (I believe there is a British and American Lab if not mistaken)

She's an American. Longer muzzle.

The English variants seem to have shorter, stouter muzzles from what I can tell.

Yesterday my dog Mocha asked me to look after her watch while she went for a swim (she was worried about getting it wet).

American lab. My in-laws have an English lab, great dog, just proportioned differently.

Mine is a mix of American and English.

From what I've read Americans are for sport (retriever) and English are more for the house (hugs and kisses) and it shows in their build qualities. American are slender, taller, narrower and more excitable. English are shorter, heftier and more calm. Hairs on Americans can be a bit longer.

Mine has the long hair, the short stature and the excitability of the American but the hefty build of the English. Weird mix. My previous one was 100% English and noticeably different in every way.

Yup, mine is mostly American. Tall, slender, loves excitement, has a lil English since her hair is shorter.

And only command/off leash trained, no retriever training officially, but she LOVES to retrieve stuff in her own, thrown balls, my socks, wife's socks, toddlers socks, toddlers toys, random towels, etc.

Parents have two English white purebreds, and it's hilarious to watch them interact.
