There are some snobbish people everywhere and if they are happy that way, then let them do the snobs: I have some hommages, some "real deals", and some cheap (but very functional) Casios and a plethora more. But I, me and myself like them all a lot - and that is, in the end, what counts.

Just get what you like more. In the last 20 years I didn't scratch the Hesalite so badly (yet) that I could not easily buff it out from my Speedmaster. I already shattered the sapphire on the submariner though!

I have a couple of divers, but quite frankly I do not really care about ISO, and water resistance: for me, already 300 meters is an overkill. In other terms, just like with COSC certification, it is nice to have, but not a deal breaker.
