Oris Cotton Candy

Love this watch.  It's no longer this shiny as it's patina'd some, but that only makes the dial pop more.

Not a popular opinion but this is hot!

I think Oris hit it out of the park with the bronze bracelet and pink dial.

I’m lusting after the baby blue dialled one of these, but I like the pink.

I love the baby blue one too. But goddamit, no see through case back. Goddamit, Oris.

I’m not sure you are going to miss much, it’s not that much of a deal breaker especially as it sits on my wrist and not hanging on the wall.

I do stare at the movements for a long time. I don't care if it's a regular Sellita. I want to see it. Otherwise, I'd buy a quartz watch.

Be reasonable about the Oris. The key features on this offering are the bronze case and the dials. They traditionally never bother with an exhibition case back, so it was unlikely they would add one, especially seeing the current SixtyFive range doesn’t sport them. The movement is decent but it’s not going to win any beauty pageants, especially when housed within as bold a watch as this and at this price point. It would probably ruin the overall aesthetic with a shiny steel movement juxtaposed against a gently ageing bronze case.

I know I know. But I care too much about watching the movement. So, for this one, I'll enjoy the pictures but never own one.

Love this line up - it's so unique. Looks great on your wrist! Enjoy!

Very nice writshot! I’m thinking of getting a pink one also for the summer on the perlon strap. Do you still like it as much 2 years later?

Nico, I had the watch for a bit. Enjoyed it, but like everything else, eventually sold it to make room for others. I do recommend it and prices have definitely come down. I sold it to a coworker and see it on his wrist regularly, it looks great and makes me miss it a little.
