New strap for Casio Protrek PRG-340
I am extremely happy with Casio's PRG-340 as a robust and long lasting ABC(Alti-Baro-Comp) watch and this is my 2nd ABC watch after Suunto Core. Given the fact that Core only survives for just 1.5 years, I am amazed with Protreks performance after a year with it. The only thing I was not happy was the original strap and I upgraded with a rubber strap from Annefit from Amazon.
For now it looks good, I will tell how if it can stand real expedition conditions soon.
But looks better than the original anyway.

I have a similar Casio ABC which I've used in the backcountry for getting on for ten years. The one thing which I wish mine had was a way to lock the altitude when you're not moving so it doesn't get confused by weather-induced changes in air pressure. Does this one have that feature?
One of my personal favorite watches. Granted it was issued, but I'd still buy one with my $, it's that good.
Mine has seen some use, and it's still running like a top. 👌🏻🤘🏻🤙🏻

Unfortunately still do not have this function. But if you are stable you have the option to adjust the altitude to a reference number.
