I'm a lover of all watches from the most expensive Patek Philippe to the cheapest Swatch. I'm currently fighting a losing battle to keep my collection under 25 pieces.
Short answer, watching watch repair videos on YouTube during the pandemic hooked me. Once I understood what goes into these tiny machines and the level of skill and craftsmanship it takes to make and service them I fell in love with horology.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I can't remember the first one I owned but I remember the first one I bought. A Seiko Kinetic quartz model that I lost after a few moves.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you love and can afford. Never buy watches as an "investment", especially if you want to wear it.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Blancpain, Grand Seiko [always], Cartier, Bell&Ross
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I honestly don't know yet. There's still so much to discover. New and vintage.
