Tag Heuer Aquaracer 200 : Worth it?

I’ve been contemplating the Tag Heuer Aquaracer 200 as my next watch purchase maybe a few months down the line. Any reviews here? I personally feel this has some solid value attached to it and the finish is absolutely brilliant in a lot of ways!

Very nice - I had a Solargraph recently and really got on well with it!

The Solargraph is brilliant! A little too expensive is what I personally felt, but a fabulous watch nonetheless! I love the finish.

The Solargraph variant is currently the best they make but definitely overpriced for what the watch offers.

Tag is best bought used, you can get most in almost new condition for half the price. Tag are definitely overpriced for what they offer compared to the current competition especially when bought new. You are paying $3000 for a watch with SW-200/ETA2824, you may as well save up couple of hundred dollars more and get something from Tudor or Oris.

@nightfury95 that’s true. It’s available for a decent-ish price here in India. Unfortunately we don’t have a very mature second half market yet, but it’s definitely getting there. Don’t know anyone here that’s picked up from Chrono24 etc but it’s worth looking into that as well I’m guessing.

I've used Chrono 24 a few times in the past to good results. Got my Mido 200C that way as nobody carries them locally.

The automatic Aquaracer model, I would look for atleast 10-20% discount if you are buying it an AD. Then it would be a a more convincing value. The 200 models usually have good discounts always. $2000-2500 should be a good deal.

Chrono24 is good but you have to be vary of your customs and import duties, if you end up paying more then it is really not worth the hassle.

If you can get an automatic Aquaracer under $2300 USD it is a fair deal. Yeah it has a Sellita but so do Oris, CW, IWC, etc and they sometimes cost even more. Get it if you like it, they're solid watches.
