Tissot Tuesday

Tissot Tuesday on my Calendar again. The weather is gloomy and foggy in Kyiv. Looks like a perfect scene for a Seastar2000. Love the dial and it’s texture. As well as near perfect colour combo of the piece. As for today, I’ve switched the original silicon strap for a Tissot dark chocolate leather one. From my perspective it’s a perfect match for the dial.

Not an everyday watch for sure. Huge and heavy as a brick. But it gives you a constant feeling of reliability, robustness and some masculine brutal aesthetics

P.S.: and that lume…

Nice my friend 👌 won't have the same watch on as you today but definitely the same cloud configuration 🙄🤣

Looking at your bracelet rubbing off on your watch triggers my OCD 😂.

I can dig it. Very nice watch my friend!

I may be in the minority, but I like a watch that has weight to it. Steel is not supposed to feel "insignificant". Just think, if an old rich lady can handle a arm full of bracelets you can handle a watch. 💪🏾

The bracelet is sterling silver. Much softer material then steel. So my guess is there is not much to worry about regarding the watch case. The bracelet itself is the one who might suffer.

Anyways it is a gift from my brothers in arms. From a platoon I used to command last year before some injuries. So it means more to me then any watch on planet Earth

That’s for sure. The weight is understandable and more then acceptable. I guess it’a more about overall sheer scale of the watch. It is massive. It absolutely has to be this was to withstand a pressure. But the pure outcome is that it is not an everyday piece.

I guess I'm just crazy 🤣

I wear this 43mm on 12 hour shifts and it feels fine, to me. 💪🏾🤣🤣
