I think this piece is definitely unique and stands out amongst your typical Daytonas. I agree, there would be a rare occasions to wear this watch but as you said it is more a piece of art than just a watch. Lovely piece!
As an owner of a Carapaz 4 watch roll, I can highly recommend it. The quality and attention to detail is apparent and I feel there is nothing else like it on the market.
Wow, this color combination looks great! You typically see White or Rhodium dials but rarely this Chocolate dial variation. Enjoy this piece!
I would still go for the 116500LN just on personal preference. Zenith is a great brand and as we all know used to make movements for Rolex. However, with this particular piece it is clear that it is a homage to the Daytona, with slight changes of course. To me, a Daytona is and always will be a classic where homages can come and go.
