I usually didn't wear any watches.
This changed when I was unfortunately hospitalised in a psychiatric hospital due to a mental health condition I suffer from. (I'm much better now, thank god).
We weren't allowed to carry cellphones, so for the first time in my life I actually needed a watch to tell the time!
Started with a small digital casio, and from then my interest in watches grew and grew.

Jerusalem stone is a common name for several stones from the area. Its constituents of Limestone with little bit of Dolomite.
The stone isn't used raw, it is stabilized with resins to make it more workable, then cut and polished.
