Hello Crunchers, this is my collection after roughly 1.5 years of collecting. I feel like I have definitely bought more often than I should have but I couldn't help it. I don't regret any of my purchases... yet. I originally just wanted a watch with an aventurine dial but didn't want to spend a ton on something I didn't think I would even wear everday. I don't even remember what I saw that had one but it was thousands of dollars which I thought was crazy since I knew nothing about watches. I bought the Orient as my first watch and told myself that if I could wear the Orient everyday, and enjoyed wearing a watch, that I would feel good about buying something "more" expensive. I eventually purchased the Zelos Mako with an aventurine dial as my 4th watch after finding that you could get an affordable watch with that type of dial. After I had the only type of watch I originally wanted I thought "welp... I'm in too deep now," and just kept buying watches I liked. Did anyone else go crazy when they first started collecting? I can't get enough.
I am here to ask what do I get next?
I need all of you to be the best bad influence you can be. What do you think I would like based off of what you see here? Or anything you can think of that is nothing like what I have here? Do you have a favorite brand that always makes something you like? Do you regret buying too many from one brand?
I'm open to just about anything that isn't over 45mm but I tend to like the 36-38mm range best.
The most recent watch that caught my eye was the Farer World Timer in green that I saw someone post on here yesterday.
I plan on buying a Grand Seiko at some point but not for a few years at least. I don't think I'm ready to spend money beyond what their entry watches are priced at and if I'm buying something like that I want it to be my favorite one regardless of price.

Nice Kuronos—cool that you already got into them only a year and a half in
You're doing better than me, I only got into watches last year and I bought about 40. Have you looked at any Citizen Promasters? Their divers and pilot watches are pretty good. The Casio Edifice range has excellent pieces as well. I see you like Seikos, maybe look at the "Sheiko".
Or maybe the baby Sheiko.

Yea they're my favorites so far and definitely my two most expensive pieces. I don't know where I originally saw them, probably some random YouTube video. They haven't sold one of their classic series since I've known about them which is what drew me initially 😭

Ooo I don't think I've ever seen the Arabic numerals on a Seiko. I like the Arabic numeral line Farer has but I'm sure I can pick up one of these Seikos much cheaper for the same look.
Get a mudman 😏
How about a new complication. Here’s my Echo/Neutra Moonphase Field Watch.
Is a moonphase complication a useless one for most people? Absolutely, but it’s a very nice watch that sells for less than the Farer. The also do it without the blacked out pvd coating, and with a while dial and it is cheaper than the Farer.
Try a Seiko "Arnie" 🤔
