Fiancée tries on a Rolex for the first time…
At a recent partners brunch meetup.
“It’s heavy. It looks exactly the same as your Tudor. I’m not sure I like the metal strap. What’s the weird bubble thing?”
Personally, it’s one of my most loved Submariners in this configuration. Seeing and hearing my fiancée (or any non watch person) be completely indifferent to it all was quite funny. Always good to get a dose of outside perspective on watches every now and then 😂

My wife couldn’t care less about watches. I stopped telling her when I buy something new years ago because she is so completely indifferent about it. Other than her smart watch that is. She does like that.
