The Casio confusion ( duro)
So in India, Casio mdv 106( marlin logo) is not available, and the mdv 107 ( without logo) is available but currently out of stock.
I am a bit confused here, whether should I order the mdv 106 from USA and pay around INR 9000. Or just pay around INR 9000 for the mdv 107.
The 107 comes with a metal bracelet but it won't be a good quality I assume. Also the mdv 106 will charge me around the same price as it is cheaper in USA so even with the import duty and delivery it's coming down to the same cost.
I just i am just conflicted about do I want to wait till stock is back up, or should I grab the mdv 106, for the marlin logo and availability.
Also if anyone knows if there is any difference in these 2 model please let me know.

Freashly bitten by the watch bug. So with the budget of a broke student I start this journey to stay broke but with good watches with me.
They can't use the Marlin logo anymore.....so they just ran outta fish for their dinner plate watch...off the menu
Both models have the same specifications (besides the bracelet). I’d go for the Marlin.
I think that they lost the right to use the Marlin logo a couple of years ago.
I heard that too, but marlin emblazoned Duros are still available most everywhere? IMHO, without the l'il fishy on the dial, the watch looks too bland. And that might be partially due to the dial's large face. If it had a smaller diameter, the lack of the swordfish might not be so noticeable?
That said, the marlin adds to the unique character of the MDV 👍
BTW, the Casio bracelet that comes on the Duro is CRAP. My MDV-106 is so equipped and it is by far the WORST bracelet I have on any of my watches. By comparison, the bracelet on one of my Casio Edifices is much, much better, and that from the same company.
